BLENDED LEARNING TECHNIQUES
To ensure sustained results we recommend a blended learning approach, with pre and post-work to support the virtual training. This could be a combination of online elements (videos, pre-reading, assignment), the virtual delivery, and follow-up afterwards (group coaching, accountability groups, internal presentation etc.). We build a variety of touchpoints into the delivery design to guarantee long-term results for your people.
WELL CONSIDERED GROUP SIZES
We are happy to deliver at scale for keynotes and large masterclasses. Dependant on the outcomes required we do not recommend over-stretching the number of attendees in some cases. Virtual deliveries should be treated with the same respect as face-to-face training. Instead, we recommend multiple sessions to be used to deliver on scale to larger groups/divisions where a deeper behavioural shift is required in the brief.
INTERACTIVE VIDEO-CONFERENCING TECHNIQUES
We have adapted the video-conferencing technology to replicate some of the physical techniques we utilise in our face-to-face training. We use break out rooms to facilitate group discussions and exercises, chat functionality and polls are used to aid continued engagement and virtual whiteboards allow us to capture attention and build frameworks on screen, much like flip charts in our face-to-face deliveries.
EXPERT VIRTUAL FACILITATORS
Our facilitators utilise their executive presence, energy and voice to command attention and keep attendees’ focus away from distractions. Carefully designed deliveries often include pre-work that helps attendees to invest in the training in advance. During lockdown, SAP needed to upskill their Sales Academy talent’s communication and presentation skills remotely. Our tailored virtual training led to some of the most remarkable shifts they’d ever seen across North America and Europe.
We collaborated with SAP to design a tailored training program that helped them to engage, motivate and unite the dispersed team. Delivered virtually through 2 x 4-hour sessions, over one month and two time zones to meet the needs of both European and North American contingents.
We focused on shifting the way the sales team designed their messages and delivered content for their audience – to avoid “spewing [marketing] material at the client”, and instead considering how to solve their business issues.

Guiding the team through the model he expertly weaved the division’s existing mission and vision into a discussion to circumnavigate the current challenges to support remote workforces.
