During lockdown, SAP needed to upskill their Sales Academy talent’s communication and presentation skills remotely. Our tailored virtual training led to some of the most remarkable shifts they’d ever seen across North America and Europe.
We collaborated with SAP to design a tailored training program that helped them to engage, motivate and unite the dispersed team. Delivered virtually through 2 x 4-hour sessions, over one month and two time zones to meet the needs of both European and North American contingents.
We focused on shifting the way the sales team designed their messages and delivered content for their audience – to avoid “spewing [marketing] material at the client”, and instead considering how to solve their business issues.
Bernadett shared that the very first piece of feedback she received during our training was that this was “the most impactful training they had received during the entire sales academy program”.

Communication that makes a difference on a daily basis
As an Organisational Development Consultant for AustralianSuper, Tanya already knew that anyone could learn and improve but in her experience it is our Mastering Communication 12-month program that delivers real change with ongoing learning. An issue for most leaders and team members at AustralianSuper was around the effectiveness of their content and delivery. Without an end goal in mind, they were failing to plan and deliver consciously and rushing into things – diluting their impact. Many team members also experienced nerves when presenting in front of others.
Over the past 7-years we have trained over 460 employees at AustralianSuper from the CEO to all levels across the organisation. The primary objective is to elevate their communication skills so they can provide a greater service to their organisation and their members and Tanya says our ongoing support is key to this success.
The Result: Tanya says she has noticed a big change in the way teams tackle communication in their roles and her team in particular. They are able to slow down and consider what they are going to say and have continued to practice and improve beyond the training room. Noticeable uplift in our sales performance, resilience and morale
Since 2015, we have trained over 500 ANZ employees in our Mastering Communication program. This communication skills course is a core requirement for all client-facing team members to complete alongside their technical skills and compliance training.
ANZ’s goal was to uplift and deepen their teams skills in order to provide value to their clients in every communication. They not only engaged one to one and in small group meetings, they were also required to present to larger groups of potential clients on a regular basis. We tailored an in-house program to meet their specific requirements and built sustained learning techniques into the delivery. The roll-out has been a huge success and Michael has discussed the “noticeable uplift in our sales performance, resilience and morale”.

Knowing the customer and how to engage them for result
The sales and marketing team at a leading beverage company in Australia were confident communicators but were not always achieving their desired outcomes with customers, team members and external stakeholders. Upon closer examination, we found there were some poor communication habits such as a reliance on presentation slides, a tendency to overload their audience with information, and public speaking nerves. Major opportunities were also being missed because they did not understand the customer well enough.
To address these issues we designed a 1-day program with relevant pre-work called The Art Of Influence. Our goals were to help the sales and marketing team better understand their audience and tailor their communications to suit their needs; design communications that was engaging, relevant and delivered in a way that was more impactful, memorable and actionable.

We worked with a leading global technology company, following a restructure, to ensure their new strategy, client experience model and ‘go to market’ plan was effectively articulated and then communicated across many divisions and geographies. The bespoke program was multi-phased, firstly to understand the client’s challenges and needs. Then to work with the senior leader group to articulate the strategy and communicate it with consistency.
